As the weather starts to get better, our crew training programs will be
going in to full swing. Please remind your members about two excellent
resources we have on AUX ELearn, the Auxiliary online learning website. 

 

Navigation Rules is an overview of the rules of the road, which should be
helpful to anyone planning to take the NavRules exam, or just to brush up.
This exam is required for first time coxswains and an open book refresher is
required every five years for existing coxswains.

 

Operations Policy is an overview of the Operations Policy Manual, the
Auxiliary "bible" when it comes to operational policies. Also required for
coxswain, this course provides a focused review of a voluminous subject.

 

Although these courses apply specifically to coxswain candidates, they are a
great resource for any boat crew person.
